I thought I was going to start a company that created brochures, so I went around offering that service. What I learned by visiting businesses is that brochures were just a way to learn what they really needed. They’d say, ‘We don’t need that, but can you do this?’. One of my first clients 18 years ago started with a need for infographics, and they’re still a client today—we grew to support their changing needs.
