What prompted your career transition?
It came from both frustration and inspiration as a military spouse. I was fortunate to have a stable career, but I watched so many in our community struggle to find meaningful, flexible work with each move. Many were turning to entrepreneurship to bridge that gap.
What were some of the conventional beliefs or fears that made the change difficult?
Stability was the biggest fear. Leaving a traditional path for something uncertain felt risky, especially with being a new mom of twins.

What helped you through the transition?
The community. Hearing how much visibility and connection mattered to these businesses kept me moving forward. I focused less on knowing everything and more on taking the next step.
Are you glad you made the change? Why?
Yes, because it gave purpose to the challenges so many families face. It allowed me to help create opportunity while building alongside so many talented makers, creators, and entrepreneurs.
